Rick Deckelbaum - Executive Vice Chairman
Rick cofounded and established F-O-R-T-U-N-E Personnel of Raleigh with his father Stan Deckelbaum in 1980. Formerly the President and CEO of Fortune, Rick led the effort in building the company that is recognized as the #1 leading executive recruiting firm in Research Triangle Park and the top performer in a nationwide system of 100 offices. Rick's symbiotic relationships with the region's leading entrepreneurs, attorneys, CPA's, and venture capitalists result in the formation of strategic partnerships with the area's leading technology and biotechnology companies.Rick is currently Managing Partner for Silverdeer, LLC, a private equity firm. In addition, Rick is a Board member and active Angel investor in many of the pre-IPO companies and venture capital funds in the greater Research Triangle Park. He is actively involved with civic associations, such as the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and the community at large.
