(919) 821-1059 [email protected] Empliant Web-Based Survey Wins Place As Academic Research ToolRALEIGH, N.C.-May 2, 2002- Empliant, Inc., providers of ASP-delivered, employee self-reliant human resources technology solutions, today announced the rising adoption of its low-cost, easy-to-use survey and forms tool with colleges and universities across the United States. Schools like San Jose' State University, Meredith College, North Carolina Central University and Peace College are among those using Empliant to quickly build, distribute, and analyze web-delivered surveys. Empliant is showcasing its survey and other human resources tools at the National Association of Colleges and Employers' Tech Forum 2002 in Charlotte, N.C. May 1-3, 2002. Empliant's survey and forms tool enables users to design and access online surveys and forms quickly and easily from a standard Web browser. With little training, any user can create, preview and publish a survey or form through a unique URL by following Empliant's intuitive event-based menus. Once respondents take a survey or complete a form, Empliant's Web-based tools allow users to easily view responses, chart and even cross-tabulate results, as well as create customized reports. Empliant provides this functionality without the need to purchase, install and maintain costly software and hardware. Survey participants need just a Web browser. Peace College, a private women's college in Raleigh, N.C., is deploying Empliant campus-wide to perform student evaluations of teaching and to conduct opinion and informational surveys. Using Empliant's survey and forms tool, Peace faculty members are also deploying surveys to support their scholarly and classroom work. "Empliant is furthering Peace's commitment to pursue technological advancement while keeping its tuition and fees affordable," said William Lightfoot, assistant professor of information services. "Empliant allows us to build, distribute and analyze surveys with limited strain on our IT resources and the data we are able to gather through its survey tool is a key component to all of our evaluation programs."
