Empliant Workshop Series Becoming a Popular Educational Resource

Participants Praise Value of Interactive Workshops

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-September 1, 2003 - Empliant, Inc., hosted service provider of employee self-reliant human resources technology solutions, recently launched its Workshop Series in North Carolina, including Online Survey Basics and Online Multi-Rater (360) Performance Feedback. These workshops are designed to give users a hands-on, classroom approach in to help enhance their learning experience.

The workshops combine process theory and live interactivity with Empliant's tools. In the Preparing for Employee and Manager Self-Reliance Workshop, participants learn how to develop and implement an HR Technology Strategy that aligns with business objectives and experience how powerful online tools improve accuracy, increase efficiency and productivity, and free HR professionals to perform more strategic work in support of Company objectives.

For the Online Survey Basics Workshop, participants follow Empliant's 7 Step Process for successful online surveys. The process includes planning, preparing and designing, presenting to respondents, and publishing results. Participants experience hands-on exercises wherein they create their own surveys, respond to other workshop participant's surveys, and are able to analyze the results. This interactive approach provides real-time results and immediate feedback. More than 84% of participants find this workshop very useful.

For the Multi-Rater (360) Performance Feedback Workshop, participants learn the process of online surveying for feedback, following Empliant's 10 Critical Factors for Successful 360 Feedback. The process includes planning a performance feedback process, preparing and designing a feedback instrument, analyzing the data, and publishing feedback results. Workshop participants create typical performance feedback questions, and are able to analyze feedback results.

Empliant workshops are held at computer training facilities, where no more than two participants share a computer for hands-on exercises. Empliant has trained more than 40 participants in recent months, including attendees from organizations based throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Participants included consultants, executive management, Human Resource Directors, Managers, and Generalists.
